Summary. We do not store your conversations. We collect account and usage information that does not include them, and any third-party provider you use handles your data under its own policy.
Armada Labs Inc ("imp", "we", "us", or "our") provides the imp application, the website at https://imp.ai, and related services (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices.
1. Your Content
"Content" means the prompts, conversations, files, and other data you process with the Services, and the resulting outputs.
- We do not store your Content.
- Content processed on your device stays on your device.
- If you use inference hosted by us or our suppliers ("Hosted Services"), your Content is sent to us and shared with those suppliers. We process it to fulfil your request and do not store it.
- If you use a Third-Party Provider (Section 5), your Content is sent to that provider.
2. Information We Collect
You may use the Services without an account. Some features require one.
Information you provide
- Account Information. Your email address and account credentials.
- Communications. Information you send us, such as waitlist requests, feedback, and support inquiries.
- Payment Information. If you purchase a paid feature, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor.
Information collected automatically
- Device Information. Hardware model and identifiers, processor, memory, operating system version, and app version.
- Usage Information. How you use the Services, such as features and models used, conversation length, token counts, performance and resource usage (including memory usage), errors, and timestamps. Usage Information does not include your Content.
- Log and Website Information. IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your requests. Our website uses cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
We may associate information collected automatically with your account, if you have one.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
- create and manage accounts;
- analyze usage and develop new features;
- communicate with you about the Services, including service notices and updates;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Use; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers that process it on our behalf, such as hosting, inference, authentication, analytics, email, and payment providers, subject to confidentiality obligations;
- when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of imp, our users, or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets; and
- with your consent or at your direction.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Third-Party Providers
The Services allow you to connect models and services operated by third parties, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter, using your own account or credentials ("Third-Party Providers"). When you do, your Content and the credentials you supply for that provider are sent to it.
Third-Party Providers process your information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how they collect, use, retain, or disclose it. Review their policies before using them.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes described above, and thereafter as required to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account, contact us at hi@imp.ai. We may need to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You may opt out of non-essential emails by following the instructions in those emails.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have data protection laws different from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
